Not quite as popular as Portobello Road, but thanks to its close location to this street, it’s definitely going to take one of the top spots. There’s just something about this street that brings joy to people’s eyes, and makes them want to never leave.
A Sea Of Colour
As with many of the other roads in Notting Hill, Lancaster Road is full of colour. From the top to the bottom, you are going to be greeted with many colours that draw your attention to the point where you simply can’t look away. What separates this place from the rest though is that this is the road in which you will find mostly loud colours. While other places in Notting Hill have muted, or pastel colours decorating the building, that is not the case here.

To some people this will be appealing and to others not so much, but Lancaster Road is a pretty busy place to be. Thanks to those beautiful colours we have been talking about, people do come from far and wide to see the houses and the architecture. If the business doesn’t bother you, then there really are no downsides to being here.
