Estate Agents Ledbury Road

With its impressive architecture and close-knit community, cosmopolitan Bayswater is a warm and inviting area with a village feel. There’s an eclectic mix of property, including luxury flats, Georgian and mid-Victorian white stucco houses, and a number of 1930s mansion blocks, which means there’s often a range of living spaces available to buy or rent.

About us

Our famous office pooch, Phil, loves nothing more than a stroll through leafy, Grade-1 listed Hyde Park – though a trip to the local deli comes a very close second.

Property in Bayswater rarely stays on the market for long, thanks to the brilliant schools, renowned bars and restaurants, and London’s best-loved green space – Hyde Park – right on its doorstep.

Bayswater is also a prime London postcode, well-connected to the rest of the city through nearby Paddington train station, and of course having the Heathrow Express to fast-track travellers and executives to London’s biggest and busiest airport.

The name comes from ‘Bayards Watering Place’ (1380), which references a rural area where horses were refreshed. In more modern times, Bayswater is known for housing the capital’s first department store (the now-repurposed Whiteleys), as well as its first Orthodox Church, the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom. It also features the famous, false-fronted houses at 23-24 Lenister Gardens, which replaced the originals when they were demolished for the Metropolitan Line.

Whether you’re looking for a studio flat to rent or selling a Victorian terrace house, Bayswater is one of our specialist areas. Talk to us to learn more.
